Terms & Conditions

How it works

  • Send your enquiry via our website (make sure you include the dates/ times/ venue as well as what you’d like to book)
  • We will get back to you with our availability and to talk through what you want to give you a cost
  • When you’re ready to book we will ask you for a £80 deposit, which will be deducted from your final invoice
  • The £80 deposit is non-refundable; however is transferrable to another date (subject to availability)
  • Final payment will be due 2 weeks before your event

Hire period

  • We base our costs on one-day events (starting 7am the day of the event and ending 12pm the day after the event)
  • We can organise the setup and dismantling timings around your requirements within these times (dismantling of backdrops must be done by Owl & Rose employees only to avoid any damage/ injury)
  • You can request longer hire periods, however this will be an additional charge. 

What is included in the cost?

  • If you are hiring a backdrop or signage the cost will include the equipment hire, setup and dismantling
  • If you are booking balloon decor then all the balloons/ materials will be included in the cost, as well as the setup fee. 
  • Neon signage and frames for balloons are the property of Owl & Rose, and are for hire only, so will need to be dismantled and removed by us at the end of the event

Public Liability Insurance

Owl & Rose are fully insured up to the value of £10,000,000. Please let us know if you or your venue need a copy of our insurance policy certificate and we’ll be happy to provide this.

Health and safety

We install our products in a way that will not pose a risk to public safety during installation, hire period and breakdown. We ask that you or anyone else, who is not employed by Owl & Rose, do not attempt to deconstruct or move our products at any time during the hire period. If a move is required during your event please discuss this with us before booking.

Owl & Rose is not liable for any accidental injury or damage caused by any actions compromising the safety of our products during the hire period.

Security/ damages deposit

All items supplied to you on a hire basis remain the property of Owl & Rose. During the hire period all hire items remain the responsibility of you (the hirer) and not the venue or event planner. Owl & Rose provides all items in good condition, and they must be returned after the event in the same condition in which they were supplied.

All bookings are subject to a damages deposit which covers any incidents/ damage which happens at your event. This will be covered by the £80 deposit you pay on booking to secure your date. This will be refunded within 24 hours of your event, minus any charges for:

  • Visible damage/ vandalism
  • Theft or missing items
  • Relocation or attempted relocation
  • Unagreed additional hire time
  • Cigarette Smoke Odour

If the damage amount exceeds the value of the damage deposit an invoice will be issued and pursued for immediate payment.

Delivery and collection

  • Delivery and collection of Owl & Rose services is free within a 15 mile radius of CV37 8GJ
  • Additional distances will be at an additional cost:
    • Within 15-25 miles £20
    • Within 25-35 miles £30

Cancellation/ amendments

If you need to change your date or venue we will confirm which of our products will be available on your new date and recalculate delivery costs (if needed)

If you need to cancel, your refund will depend on when the cancellation occurs prior to your event:

  • Over 4 weeks prior to event: 50% of deposit refundable
  • Between 2-4 weeks prior to event: Total balance refundable minus the deposit
  • Less than 2 weeks prior to event: No refund

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, all payments to us will be refunded to you in full.

COVID 19

Owl & Rose adheres to all COVID 19 Government guidelines. Please let us know if your preference is for us to wear masks during the installation and breakdown of our products and we will be happy to do so. We also ensure we use hand sanitiser before and after leaving your venue.

Photography

We get really excited about seeing our products and decor at events so if you are happy to either tag us in social media images or send us any images from your event we’d love to see and share on our social media!
